[he's in the park, at the base of a tree. as for his state-- his hair's still a little messy and left loose for once, there are faded burns on the right side of his face and neck, and his outfit's absolutely wrecked. he's missing his right sleeve, though at least the burns and bites covering that arm are also faded, and his coat is generally scorched and burnt through here and there, particularly on the right side but scattered all over.

besides that, he's pale, looks tired, and is definitely missing his left leg. he manages a halfhearted little wave, though.]

Are you still too hurt to change into new clothes?

[ she looks at his missing leg. ]

I guess there's no replacing a whole leg, huh.

I never bought extras, before...

[these are the only clothes he has. he's stuck with them for now.]

Probably not. I'll... figure something out.

I don't know how much it'll cost you, but it's not the worst thing to have a prosthetic.

[he can't really go shopping at the moment... this is a later problem.]

Mm. I'm gonna text and see if there's anything I can buy off of them to help out. I know there's not gonna be anything workshop-quality here, but I'd take just grabbing crutches or something.

Something is better than nothing, and it's smarter to have some way to move about.

There's... not a lot to say, I guess. We were trying to figure out a case about- dolls that looked like people we knew.

[definitely looking a little unsettled, there.]

Had to fight the thing that was making them, plus a few other monsters on the way to it.

Yuzu, Nahida, Kyoko... I think Amelia, too? And- someone I used to know, too, but she's never been here.

I didn't recognize the others, but I think Shu did.

How odd that it can know people that aren't here. That's insidious.

...yeah. I've heard people say they probably come from memories, so-- maybe it pulls from ours, too? She was the only part of it I recognized though.

... If it's from memories, at least it's not as real.

That was kind of a relief, to be honest. As much as it sucked, I'm... glad they were always safe.
